A building project that involves sandwich panels requires the right fasteners. When screwing into steel, the screw should have a special drill point. Special panel fixing screws have been developed for fastening sandwich panels to a construction. These screws come in many different varieties to match the characteristics of a project.
For example, there are three types of drill point: for wood, thin steel, and thick steel. Panel fixing screws are also available in a wide range of colours so that they perfectly match the sandwich panels or profiled sheets used.
Special flashing screws are available for flashings – and, of course, these also come in several variants. When it comes to material, you have several options to choose from: galvanised, bimetal and – our personal preference – stainless steel.
