Transparent corrugated panels for roofs with FALK 1000 GL insulated roofing sheets. These rooflights provide good insulation and a pleasant working and living environment in the building.
The rooflight for roofs with FALK 1000 GL roofing panels consists of two polycarbonate sheets.
These sheets have exactly the same dimensions as the insulated roofing sheets and therefore fit seamlessly. Because the panels are so easy to combine, they can be used in a variety of ways; for example, they can be distributed across the roof, but also be installed as horizontal or vertical skylights.
Corrugated rooflight panel
A rooflight is also commonly known as a rooflight panel. The corrugated profile has a height of 40 mm and is available in two colours, clear and opal. The opal version has a milky colour and a light transmittance of 40%, while the clear version is transparent and has a light transmittance of 74%.
Skylight or light ridge
A skylight is a continuous row of light panels. It allows a tremendous amount of light into a building, contributing to a pleasant indoor environment. A light ridge works on the same principle, but then at the ridge of the roof. This is achieved using transparent ridge pieces.
Insulation value
The advantage of a rooflight is insulation. The air trapped between the polycarbonate panels helps to provide good insulation. Compared to an insulated sandwich panel, a rooflight has a lower insulation value, so bear this in mind when designing the building.

UV-barrier
The top plate is provided with a film, a UV barrier for optimal light and to prevent discolouration.
In most circumstances, solar panels can be installed on FALK insulated roof panels, but this will depend on the chosen span of the panels and the substructure.
